At ThinkTribal, your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
ThinkTribal Limited (company number 12116434, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Registered address: AvenueHQ, 10-12 East Parade, Leeds, LS1 2BH.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under reference ZB011235. For anything about this notice or your data, write to us at info@thinktribal.com, marking the message for the attention of the data protection contact.
This notice covers this website: the enquiry form, the gated downloads, and the analytics. ScoreView and TenantSafe hold personal data under their own arrangements, and where we process resident or tenant data on behalf of a landlord, that landlord is the controller and we are the processor under a data processing agreement. Ask us for the product privacy information if you need it.
| What | Why | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry form: your name, email, organisation, role and the message you write | To answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to carry on the conversation | Legitimate interests, responding to someone who contacted us |
| Download form: your name, work email and organisation | To send the document and, where you tick the box, to contact you about it | Legitimate interests for the document itself; consent for the marketing contact |
| First-touch source: the referring site, the page you landed on, and any campaign tag in the link you followed | So we know which piece of our work prompted an enquiry. Stored in your browser for the session only, and sent with the form if you submit one | Legitimate interests, understanding what our work is doing |
| Analytics: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and how you reached the site | To understand how the site is used and improve it | Consent. Nothing is set until you accept |
| Server logs held by our hosting provider, including IP address and request details | To keep the site running and secure, and to investigate abuse | Legitimate interests, security and service operation |
An IP address and browsing data are personal data, and we treat them as such. We ask for nothing beyond what the purpose needs, and we do not sell personal data or use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Enquiries and download leads, including the message and source information | 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted |
| Marketing consent records | 24 months from your last contact, or until you withdraw consent, whichever is sooner |
| Analytics data in Google Analytics 4 | Per the property's configured retention, and never tied to a name or an email by us |
| Hosting and function logs | Per our hosting provider's standard log retention, which is short and measured in days |
Retention for complaint records, evidence and account data inside TenantSafe is set out in the product documentation and the data processing agreement with your landlord, not here.
We use a small number of providers, each under a written contract that limits them to our instructions:
TenantSafe additionally uses Supabase, Anthropic and Brevo. Those are product sub-processors rather than website ones, and they are listed in the security and data handling material for that product.
Website enquiries and downloads are processed in the UK. Some of the providers above are established outside the UK, and where personal data is transferred internationally it is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, together with the additional safeguards those require.
We use a small number of cookies to:
To understand how the site is used we use Google Analytics 4. When you consent, it sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects aggregate information - pages visited, approximate location, device and browser, and how you reached the site. This helps us measure and improve the site; it is not used to personally identify you.
Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them. On your first visit a consent banner asks you to Accept or Decline. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in a consent-denied mode that stores no cookies. You can change your choice at any time - reopen cookie settings to grant or withdraw consent.
Our Privacy Policy applies only to ThinkTribal. If you follow links to other websites, please review their policies.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. Visit your browser's website for instructions.
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

Complaining to us first does not affect your right to complain to them.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy occasionally. We'll post any changes here. Please check back regularly.
